How to pay for electric vehicle charging via the website?

Not got Lidl Plus? No worries!
You can now make a contactless payment on your debit card when using the rapid charging machine or if using our fast charging machines payment can be made via our third party website.
A temporary £40 pre-authorisation hold is applied to all payments made via the website or contactless card terminal. For the majority of sessions, any unused funds are released immediately upon completion of the charging process. However, depending on the banking provider, it can take up to 4 weeks for the returned balance to reflect in the account.
For a cheaper charging tariff, download and use the Lidl Plus app. Any unused pre-authorisation funds through the Lidl Plus app will be returned within 3-5 days.
Charging Tariffs without Lidl Plus
Fast Charging Tariff:
£0.55/kWh - payment through the third-party website.
For cheaper tariffs of £0.40/kWh please sign up to Lidl Plus and pay through the Lidl plus app. Learn more about Lidl Plus tariffs here
Rapid Charging Tariff:
£0.74/kWh through the third-party website or by contactless debit card payment on the Rapid charging machine.
